Anna university, Chennai has recently updated its revaluation procedure from Nov/Dec 2013 on 02 January 2014. It is applicable for all the students who have appeared for B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MCA/MBA and other courses November/December 2013 examinations and waiting for the result. Those who have arear and appeared for arear examination during November/December 2013 should also follow this new procedure. According to the new procedure the candidates seeking revaluation should apply for the photocopy of their answer-script by paying Rs. 300 per paper within the prescribed time given by the Anna University. Then if they really find the discrepancies in the award of the marks, then only need to apply for revaluation by paying another fee of Rs. 400/- per each paper within the time university allotted. If still they are not satisfied they can appear for a review of their papers. In this connection, the unwanted appeal for revaluation will be minimized thereby saving the time of university examiners too. But the disadvantage of this system is the increasing the amount of revaluation from Rs.300 to Rs. 700/-. See the official announcement letter below.
