 1. Explain the appearance and characteristics features of a VB form.
2. Explain the steps to create a simple Visual Basic application.
3. Describe the string functions in VB.
4. Explain the syntax for declaring and initializing variables and constants in VB.
5. Explain the syntax of nested If- Then-else and Select-Case statements in VB.
6. Describe how read and write operations can be performed on sequential files.
7. Describe the properties of data control.
8. Write a note on OLE.
9. Explain a generic frame work for handling errors in VB.
10. Discuss the suitability of VB for Internet applications.

11. List the controls in VB toolbox and explain their property settings.
12. Explain the types of arrays in VB and describe with an example program how sorting of 20 names can be done using arrays.
13. Explain the looping. Exit For and Exit do statements in VB with syntax and example programs.
14. Discuss the role of Data Manager and explain how a student database can be accessed in VB to display the details of the student for a given student roll number.
15. Explain the features of Active X documents and describe what happens when a user navigates to an Active X document.
