(e) Enumerate the steps in designing and installing an appraisal system.
(f) What is potential appraisal? How does it help employee's motivation?

(a) "Learning is the essence of training.” Discuss. Explain by examples how training
generates learning.
(b) How are training needs assessed? Illustrate by designing a need-based training
programme.
(c) Write notes on training methods, techniques, facilities and aids.
(d) What is career planning? How does it influence workers' motivation?
(e) Discuss the role of education and training in organisation development.
