Anna University Revised Question Paper format for PG Exams

Looking for what change has been made in PG exam Question Paper Format? Read this post to know the recent changes made by Anna University Chennai. AU has decided to change the question paper pattern. According latest change, Part C has one 15 marks question which is of type Application/Design/Analysis/ Evaluation/Creativity/Case study. As usual there is no change in Part A which contains 10 questions each carrying 02 marks. So Part A has 20 marks. But Part B has been changed. Earlier 5 sixteen marks questions has been set. Now instead 16 marks, each question carries 13 marks only. So 5 x 13 = 65 marks in Part B. The marks are summarized below:

New Question Pattern of Anna University PG Examinations:-
Part A => 10 x 2 = 20 marks
Part B (Either or Type) => 5 x 13 = 65 marks
Part C => 1 x 15 = 15 marks
Total = 100 marks

Old Question Paper Pattern:
Part A => 10 x 2 = 20 marks
Part B (Either or Type) => 5 x 16 = 80 marks
Total = 100 marks

This new format is applicable to those who are admitted in the academic year 2015-16. We can see the questions of this type in coming December 2015 exams of Anna University Chennai. Others already enrolled will have the old format as usual.
