on disability.

11. Define Rehabilitation.

12. Mention some of the adopted physical education activities
for the visually impaired children.

Part B (5 x 5 = 25)
Answer any five of the following in about 250 words each.
13. Sketch the ‘Cascade System’ of service delivery for
children with visual impairment.

14. Write about the educational problems of children with
low vision.

15. What are the general principles in the material
preparation for the visually impaired?

16. State the principles of special education and inclusive
education.

17. Explain any two models for effective integrated
education.

18. State the characteristics of visually impaired children
with additional disabilities.

19. Briefly explain the various government schemes for
persons with disabilities.

20. What are the techniques of teaching various daily living
skills to the visually impaired children?

Part C (2 x 15 = 30)
Answer all questions in about 750 words each.
21. (a) Discuss the role of parents, peer group and
community for the successful integration of the
education for the visually impaired.

(b) Explain the refractive errors that lead to visual
impairment. Suggest corrective measures.

22. (a) Explain the historical development of education for
the visually impaired in India.

Or
(b) Trace the recent trends and issues in the field of
rehabilitation with reference to medical and
educational intervention.
