1. (i) If a SIR of 15 dB is required for satisfactory forward channel performance of a cellular system what n the frequency reuse factor and cluster m that should he used for maximum capacity if the
path loss exponent is n=4. Assume that than are six cells in the first tier and all of them are at the same distance from the mobile. Use suitable approximations (10)
(ii) Compare the characteristic features of FDMA, TDMA and CDMA mechanisms. (6)
