1. Bring out the significance of fieldwork and surveys as a major data sources in
spatial analysis
2. Discuss the historical development of remote sensing at international level.
3. Give an account of types of remote sensing and atmospheric windows.
4. Describe various geometric characteristics of an aerial photograph and explain
the methods of measurement of scale and height on an aerial photograph.
5. Describe special characteristics of Land sat and IRS sensors.
6. What is GPS ? Explain space segment, control segment and user segment of
GPS.
7. Write notes on any two.
i) Electromagnetic spectrum.
ii) SPOT.
iii) Factors governing the interpretability.
