Time : Three Hours Maximum Marks : 70

(ii) Neat diagrams must be drawn wherever necessary.
(iii) Figures to the right indicate full marks.
(iv) Use of logarithmic tables, slide rule, Mollier charts, electronic
pocket calculator and steam tables is allowed.

(b) How you will take care of domestic refrigerator ?
(c) Explain central AC and unitary AC system with block diagram.
(d) Describe waste disposal related to collection, separation, recycle,
and land filling.

(a) State duties of Chief Engineer in a hotel.
(b) Define Specific heat, sensible heat, DBT, relative humidity, WBT.
(c) List various factors to be controlled in Air-conditioning Unit.
(d) List advantages of contract maintenance.
(e) What is defrosting ? Why is it needed ?
