Q1) "Jurisprudence is a Science of positive law". - Holland. Do you agree? Give
reasons and discuss the nature, scope and utility of Jurisprudence.
Q2) "Natural Law is a perpetual quest for absolute justice". Discuss in the light of
its universal and everlasting principles and whether reflected in the Indian legal
system.
Q3) Critically analyze Austin's theory of 'Command of the Sovereign' in the context
of a politically organized society. Discuss its relevance in modern legal systems.
Q4) Art. 141 of the Indian Constitution confers a constitutional status on the doctrine
of precedent. Comment and elaborate on the circumstances that destroy the
binding force of judicial precedent.
Q5) The purpose of administration of criminal justice is to punish the offender and
thereby control crime in the society. Discuss the notion in context of theories
of punishment and point out which of them are best suitable to achieve the
object.
Q6) Legal personality is an artificial and technical creation of law and exists only in
contemplation of law. Explain.

support this proposition? Give reasons and analyze.
