11. (a) Explain Baye’s theorem.
Or
(b) If a card is drawn from a pack containing 52 cards. Find the chance
(i) The card is spade
(ii) The card is an Ace.
12. (a) On a particular date in a village 200 out of a random sample of 250 were found to be Panparag users. After the tax on Tobacco increased, a survey was conducted among 350 people included 200 are panparag users. Was the observed decrease in the proportion of panparag significant?
Or
(b) 20 people were attacked by a disease and only 18 survived. Will you reject the hypothesis that the survival rate if attacked by the disease is more than 85%. Test at 5% level.
13. (a) A coin is tossed 400 times and it turns up head 200 times. Discuss whether the coin may be an unbiased one.
Or
(b) From the following data, find out whether inoculation is effective in preventing tuberculosis.
