Attempt any five questions. All
questions carry equal marks.
1. Describe the socialisation process. How can socialisation
influence personality, attitude and values ? How can you
differentiate between behaviour modification and
socialisation process ? Discuss.
2. Highlight the transition which has taken place in Indian
society from agrarian to industrial environment. Discuss
the work behaviour that has undergone change before and
after the industrial revolution.
3. Write short notes on the following :
(i) Reasons for formation of group
(ii) Determinants of organisational effectiveness
4. Discuss how group effectiveness can be improved.
Describe a few cases with examples where group
cohesiveness was improved is organisation ?
5. What are the different types of stress ? Describe how to
cope with stress in an organisation.
6. Describe the role of a manager in an organisation in the
present day scenario and explain how he/she can change
the mindset of employees in the changing business
scenario.
7. Discuss the importance of political behaviour in an
organisation. Comment on whether the use of power and
politics in organisation is ethical or not ?

(ii) Knowledge management
9. Explain cross cultural training and reasons for behaviour

10. Explain different types of organisational culture. What
actions a manager has to take to change the culture of
