levels and functional areas is expected to play ? Describe
in detail the manager as a planner, communicator and a
decision-maker.
2. Explain in detail the various challenges facing the
management of today and future.
3. Discuss the significance and limitations of rational decision-
making. Do you feel that in all situations managers take
rational decisions ? Explain.
4. What do you mean by Management By Objectives
(MBO) ? Discuss the steps involved in MBO process.
5. Discuss the concept of organisational conflicts. Do you
feel that conflicts prompt an organisation to improve ?
Explain.
6. Discuss the factors that lead to organisational change.
Explain in brief the reasons of resistance to change.
7. Explain in detail the process of delegation.
What advantages accrue from delegation of authority ?
