The Anna university reopening date 2016 was changed due to the heavy flood in Chennai and other districts like Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur. It is important to note that the Anna university Nov Dec odd sem (1st, 3rd, 5th and 7th) exams were postponed for several times and thus it extends up to the last week of January.
Due to these rain and other strike reasons the commencement of the Anna Univ even semester (2nd, 4th, 6th & 8th) academic classes have faced a bit delay.
