I. Essay Questions : (2 x 15 = 30)
1. Name the different blood group systems. Mention the importance of blood groups.
Explain the procedure for determining the blood group of an individual.
Give the basis and principles of treatment of Erythroblastosis Foetalis.
2. Name any four hormones producing Hyperglycemia.
Explain the actions of the chief hypoglycemic hormone on liver, skeletal muscle and
adipose tissue. Briefly explain GTT.
Add a note on diabetes Mellitus and Physiological basis of its treatment.
