2. What are the advantages of distributed processing?

3. What are the responsibilities of data link layer?

4. What is redundancy?

5. Define routers.

6. How the packet cost referred in distance vector and link state routing?

7. What is meant by congestion?

8. List out the user related attributes.

9. Define CGI.

10. How is a secret key different from public key?

(b) Compare connection oriented and connectionless service.

(b) How does a token ring LAN operate? Discuss in detail.

13. (a) Briefly describe about the packet switching.

(b) What are routers and discuss about routers in detail.

14. (a) Compare the ISO OSI model and the TCP/IP reference model.

(b) Explain leaky bucket and token bucket algorithm.

15. (a) Discuss about the RSA algorithm.

(b) Explain the type of encryption/decryption method.

16. Explain the ISO-OSI model of computer network with a neat diagram.

17. Discuss in brief about stop and wait protocol.

18. Briefly discuss how DES algorithm works?

19. Explain UDP and TCP with the neat diagram.

20. Explain how security is provided in interact operations in detail.
