Part-A
Note : Attempt any four questions from this Part. Each question carries 5 marks (not exceeding 200 words).

8. What kinds of punishments are provided under the criminal justice system to deter the criminal from committing crime ? Discuss.

11. What do you understand by the term 'Crime' ? Discuss the essential elements of crime.
12. The police system in India needs lot of ground level reforms. Do you agree with this statement ? Discuss.
