PART A
Attempt any four questions in about 150 words each All questions carry equal marks. 4x5=20

3. Who is a juvenile ?
4. What is an after-care organization ?
5. What is criminal justice ?
6. Explain the meaning of prevention detention.
PART 'B
Attempt any four questions in about 300 words. All questions carry equal marks. 4x10=40
7. Discuss in brief, powers and constitution of State Legal Services Authority.
8. Write a note on legal aid to the prisoners in India.
9. Discuss the constitution of Juvenile Justice Board and its powers.
10. What are Beijing Rules ? Discuss its significance.
11. What is the individual criminal responsibility under International Law ? Explain.
12. Discuss the terms of reference to the committee to review Armed Forces (Special Powers) Act (AFSP Act).
PART C
Attempt any two questions in about 500 words. All questions carry equal marks. 2x20=40
13. Discuss in detail history, aims and objects of the National Legal Services Authority Act, 1987. Are you of the opinion that this Act has been successful in its objectives ? Explain.
14. What do you understand by the concept of Juvenile Justice ? Discuss the history of development of juvenile justice institutions in India. Do you agree that these institutions have been successful in doing justice to children ? Explain.
15. What do you understand by International Criminal Court ? Discuss its jurisdiction and admissibility.
16. Discuss the special features of Armed Forces Special Powers Act. Do you agree that this Act should be retained or abolished ? Support your answer with reasons.
