Note : This question paper has been divided into 3 parts - Part A, Part B and Part C. All parts are compulsory. You have to attempt any four questions from Part A, any four questions from Part B and any two questions from Part C.
PART A
Write short notes on any four of the following in about 150 words each. Each question carries 5 marks. 4x5=20
1. Use of Books in Law Library
2. Bailable and Non-bailable Offences
3. Types of Advocacy
4. Charter System
5. Methods of Good Listening
6. Investigation after Arrest
PART B
Attempt any four of the following in about 300 words each. Each question carries 5 marks. 4x10=40
7. Discuss the relevance of Foreign cases and Statutes of countries with similar legal system.
8. Discuss the importance of Primary and Secondary Sources of Data.
9. Discuss the guidelines issued by NHRC on 'how to file a complaint'.
10. Discuss the essentials of FIR. Prepare FIR in the format prescribed, if any.
11. Discuss the objectives and functions of National Commission for Women (NCW).
12. Discuss the essential elements of Counselling.
PART C
Attempt any two of the following in about 600 words each. Each question carries 20 marks. 2x20=40
13. Discuss the common obstacles faced in Criminal Justice Research.
14. Discuss PIL with the help of case law and also discuss the Supreme Court guidelines for filing PIL petitions.
15. Write short notes on :
(a) Human Rights of the Victims
(b) Right to Bail
16. Discuss in detail the stages involved in the mediation process.
